Dhruvant believes this and starts doubting Muddulakshmi. Soon, Muddulakshmi becomes pregnant while Sharvari poisons Dhruvant's mind claiming that it is not his child and that Muddulakshmi has had an affair. Meanwhile, Dhruvant's colleague Sharvari desperately loves him and tries to separate Dhruvant and Muddulakshmi so she can marry him. Initially she faces opposition from her mother-in-law, Soundarya, however later gets accepted. Cardiologist Doctor Dhruvant falls in love with her and they marry.
